High school students engage in learning activities that combine both sports and technology -- regardless of athletic ability or technical skill level. Activities and experiences within the pathways are constructed to combine coding, app development and animation with the students' team involvement, sport skills, exercise routines, playbooks and health goals. "Playing well with others" is our playlist theme. Students acquire life-skill-development opportunities in: 1) Leadership and team-building, 2) Self management (taking personal responsibility for one's own behavior) through follow-through skills, and 3) Social/emotional skills enhancement through structured inter/intrapersonal skill identification, practice and self-monitoring activities. To accomplish desired objectives, participants: set goals, make reasonable/feasible plans to accomplish their goals, make the goals happen, and evaluate the results. The goal setting process by Kay Atman, Ph.D. features the brain's executive functions. Personal development within this realm is Play.CLOH.org's top learning outcome. Get compelling insights doing the XP/Goals, Levels 1 through 6. Connected learning happens within playlists and within every XP. Kids make informed decisions, develop plans, make compromises, ask questions and strive for balance in their lives through sports and technology. Play.CLOH.org's orientation introduces a 4-quarter playlist wizard to focus on the holistic challenges while combining sports, technology and personal development.
