abstract
  • A Lions Den match is a wrestling match type where two or more opponents must escape a steel cage (Which is called the "Lions Den" to become the victor, though sometimes the rules are bent where they may also win via pin or submission as well. The reason for the name "Lions Den" is based off old roman times where a gladiator (Representing a Wrestler) would fight a Lion or Lions (Representing the Opponent) in a Lions Den (Representing the Cage). The only way to win was to kill the Lion or Lions (In this case, pin them or make them submit) or to escape the Den (in this case, finding your way out of the cage).
