While working as a caddy at the club, Bobby aciddently injures him while taking part in a sport called "Ice-blocking". Corky Raywood is an incredibly wealthy and powerful man and as a result of this, the country club immediately fires Bobby, but Buck Strickland takes a liking to Bobby and makes him his personal caddy, largely because Corky and Buck don't like each other.
