| - Type: Solar Circle Sorcerery Keywords: Infernal, Blasphemy Cost: 100 Target: One Manse Trapped deep in Cecelyne's desert and unable to move, Teryean had no access to any demesne's to power his laboratory form. Lacking such natural resources, he endeavored to create a better method of generating large amounts of essence to power his experiments. Looking to the Yozi and the great power they produced without access to the Wyld or geomancy, he reasoned there was a method to produce such energies in a vacuum. Inspired by the power of the Green Sun and the might of Isidoros, he constructed a reactor in which vitrol boils constantly in a great, floating sphere that surrounds a tiny shard of the boars consumptive hunger. Objects, sand, and souls are all thrown into the mix, and as they are destroyed, the reaction makes the vitrol churn. Slowly, the mix is sucked into the black heart in the center of the reactor, two jets of pure essence flowing forth from it. This spell mimics his achievement, and creates such a reactor. The building it is to power must be constructed first -- treat this as constructing a manse save that the manse must specifically be made with this spell in mind. This spell is then cast on the structure itself, starting the reaction in it's heart. The reactor acts as an artificial demesne of whatever power level the manse requires to a maximum of Casters Ess/2. This fuels all the manse's system, allows people attuned to it to recover essence as if they were inside a manse, etc. Once the reaction is started, it can continue as long as it is given fuel. This fuel does not have to be anything particularly significant -- anything will do, as long as it has sufficient mass. This fueling requirement automatically gives the Manse the Maintenance 2 flaw. It receives no points for this flaw. Such manse's must be Infernal aspected and are not subject to geomantic attack. If the manse would suffer power failure, instead roll a d10. On anything but a 1, the reactor dispels and the manse becomes a mundane structure. To restore power, the spell must be cast again. On a 1, the manse suffers catastrophic reactor failure. This completely destroys the manse, deals 50 Agg damage to everyone inside, and gives everyone in a Manse Rating*1000 yard radius Green Sun Wasting. Manse's powered by such systems are not confined to one place, as they are not dependent on actual geomancy. Exactly how the Manse moves -- if it does so -- is something the Manse's creator must handle, the reactor does not bestow this power on it's own, it merely makes the possibility available.
