The Ascended Demon-Lords are a group of powerful Ascended-Demon Digimon who would eventually rise up and become the Supreme-Enemies of the Infernal Demon-Lords of the Dark-Area in the Digital-World. The Ascended Demon-Lords were several deity and higher-angel Digimon who joined in the original angelic rebellion of the Digital-Heaven and were cast out, cursed, and transformed into demonic Digimon alongside all of the other rebels. After a time, several of the rebels came to repent for the transgressions and presented themselves to the Digimon Celestials, they were placed in castigation for an age to purify both their physical and spiritual corruption, and they were released to atone for their transgressions during one of the many great crises of the Digital-World.
