  • The enniw, also known as the cave bear, were ursine semi-sentients that inhabited the caves of Eniam. Similar to many other ursine species throughout the Galaxy, enniws had pure black eyes and fur. This suited them well to their habitat, as did their omnivorous diet. Like the other cave animals, they had excellent night vision, but they traded a broad range of hearing for an excellent sense of smell. They were also much larger than other cave animals and could not move through small passages. However, they were much stronger and tougher, able to survive cave-ins and knock huge boulders aside. They also had broad hands for digging. The bears were in fact genetic cousins to the more advanced sentient Drijokenleein.
