| - Christopher Evan Welch is an American actor, best-known for playing Tails in the 1993 cartoon series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and for narrating the 2008 Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was the only cartoon series for which he was a voice actor and when Sonic Christmas Blast was released in December 1996, he was replaced by Chris Turner due to the fact his voice had changed. For a few years starting in 1994, he was the lead singer of the popular, whimsical, Seattle-based band The Ottoman Bigwigs, who were named after a crossword puzzle clue for 'emir' but they disbanded upon Welch's move to New York City to pursue his acting career. He has appeared in such films as The Stepford Wives, The Interpreter, The Hoax, Keane, The Good Shepherd, Chinese Coffee, and War of the Worlds and his TV guest spots include L&O: SVU, L&O: CI, Third Watch, The Practice, and Whoopi. Currently he is involved in the AMC original series Rubicon where he is playing Grant Test, a intelligence analyst at a national think tank.
