| - Basic Information Class: Mobile Space Station Diameter: 950km Speed: 10 MGLT Hyperdrive Rating: Class 4 Armor Rating: 2900 RU Shield Rating: 6800 SBD (x3 layers) Crew: 6800 (approx. 5000 civilians) Special Technology: Stygium Cloaking/Jamming/Various ECM Technologies History Recluse serves as the headquarters for the Librarians, a society of sentient beings devoted to storing what is generally considered the most "positive" achievements of galactic society. Artwork, history, poetry, songs, and historical artifacts are all stored within the heavily secured vaults of the mobile station. Because Recluse carries information or items that are of much demand from a variety of governments and individuals, security is of utmost importance. Individuals are extensively screened upon arrival, only state of the art identification technology being of use to ensure that none by Librarians pass through into the station. The Librarians are uninterested in the particulars of "good" and "evil," being completely devoted to whichever area of expertise they involve themselves in. Regardless, or perhaps because, of this neutrality, they have a number of Jedi and Dark Jedi in their services, rogue individuals that have no interest in the politics and activities of their fellow Jedi. These men and women serve much like non-Force sensitive Librarians, using their talents to further the goals of Recluse. Recluse is made up of several divisions focusing on one particular field of expertise. Each division is led by a "Director" who coordinates the efforts of each of his "Field Agents" and "Researchers." Field Agents involve themselves in acquiring the object of their division's interest while Researchers study, catalogue, and store said objects. A special division called "Acquisitions" is made up of men and women specially trained in "obtaining" hard to get objects. A large numbed of shape-shifters make up this division, due to their unique abilities of infiltration. As it may be assumed, Recluse is highly organized and efficient. As a centuries-old institution, it has an influence in many areas across the galaxy, the most notable of which is the galactic black market. Items of value within the black market are picked up through secure means while replications and items of lesser value are sold at a very impressive rate. Some of the galaxy's finest forgers serve Recluse, with a decent population of Ryn serving full time within a specialized section of the station. Although all information on Recluse is decades to centuries old, if correct at all, one piece of information is considered correct: A former Jedi and famous adventurer, created Recluse a little less then five hundred years before Palpatine formed the Galactic Empire. This information can be found within the depths of Obroa-skai, collecting dust, so to speak. Unbeknownst to all, the enigmatic founder of Recluse placed this information here for potential Librarians. The information is closely observed by sleeper members of Recluse who work in the Library of Obroa-skai.
