- David Brown is a British actor who on Coronation Street played the role of Mr. Armstrong - a potential buyer of 4 Coronation Street, when the house went on the market in May 2008. His other credits include roles in The Bretts, Hollyoaks and its spin-off video Hollyoaks: Indecent Behaviour. Brown also starred as himself in Celebrity Fear Factor UK.
- David Brown is an estate agent who is in the Kings River Showhome when it collapses. He is standing near Noreen Bell when she opens a cupboard door and turns on a light, creating a spark which starts a series of explosions and the causes the collapse of the house, even setting David on fire. After being retrieved from the house, David dies after paramedics fail to revive him. Noreen also dies.
- Founded in 1860 as a pattern manufacturing company, by 1873 David Brown had focused on gear systems, and by 1898 was specialising in machine cut gears. The company then moved in 1902 to Park Works at Huddersfield, were the firm is still based. David Brown died in 1903 and Percy and Frank his sons took over and began manufacture of complete gear units with bearings and shafts worm drive gears.
- David Brown (born February 1, 1985, in Stoney Creek, Ontario) is a professional ice hockey goaltender for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Brown was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 8th round, 228th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Before playing professional, Brown played four seasons for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and was named MVP in 2006. He was a finalist for the 2007 Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded to the top collegiate player in the country. He is an alumnus of Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario.
