The North Atlantic Treaty Organization Economic Community (abbreviated as NATOEC) is a free-trade forum existing between seven of the ten NATO members - the United States, Alaska, Colombia, Oceania, England, Portugal and Iceland. The community was established in 2002 following the establishment of the CICEC in 1999. Unlike CICEC, the NATOEC is not a full free-trade forum - member states can establish tariffs and, more often, import/export caps with individual nations within the forum with a simple majority vote from all ambassadors. The NATOEC is headquartered in Sydney.
