Though his father, Jake Callot, was a miner,working to gather resources from Luna's core, he was also a bit of an idealist, proud of Lunite heritage, always desiring that the Lunites should spread on throughtout the galaxy and make a mark on history. His father would always tell Dirionis when he was a young boy that some day he would get off the rocky barren lands of Luna, and find someplace better to spread on the Lunite legacy, and spread the culture and ways of the Lunites. Dirionis's mother, Jenna Callot, was a very busy business woman, who payed little attention to Dirionis, she always seemed to be doing something important, leaving Dirionis to feel that he wasn't good enough for his mother's attention. In school Dirionis was a curious and a good team-worker, accomplishing tasks with the helps of others, and forming many friendships. An outgoing child, he would always speak his mind, except when he knew to keep his mouth shut, when talking to superiors. In the year 3001, when New Luna was publically recognized, new hopes for Jake Callot being able to send his son somewhere new started to appear, with the discovery of New Luna. Dirionis, only 15 at the time, was obviously not yet ready to go, but his father always said, " one day, son, you'll be there." Dirionis looked up to his father very much, and was grief stricken when his father died in the year 3003, in a freak accident while mining. Dirionis vowed someday, to live to his father's expectations, that he would go to New Luna, and make his father proud of him...As well as hope to catch the attention of his mother. However, that was not the only reason he desired to move away, after his father passed away, his mother was cruel and cold with him, Dirionis being a vague reminder of Jake. After constant arguing and fighting all the time, his once perfect family now in ruin, he thought maybe, just maybe he would find the brother he never had in the NLM, wishing to have atleast some type of family...For his mother was only a stranger. Dirionis left when he was 21, heading to Hancock station, desiring more than ever to be a marine of the NLM. Finding the New Luna Militia, he signed up with the marines, something he had prior experience to, having been in a Luna military academy, and has been working there ever since, being promoted to Private First Class after some time, and then to a higher position of Corporal, where he is the Executive Officer of 2nd squad, from 1st platoon, and then further to Commanding Officer of 1st squad, 1st platoon. He eventually deserted during the Phyrrian war.
