In addition to the multi scale design the RGIF7 features an ash body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with no inlays. Components include a fixed bridge and dual active EMG humbucking pickups. The RGIF8 is a similar eight-string model. The RGIM7MH is a similar model with a mahogany body.
