- The Battle Simulator is a piece of Mobian technology created by the Kingdom of Knothole's technology experts in Knothole under the supervision of General Armand D'Coolette and Princess Sally Acorn, for the purpose of running simulations of battles between different Freedom Fighter groups, testing strength, speed, intelligence etc. to formulate better battle plans for the war against the Eggman Empire. The Simulator's first simulation showed holographic recreations of the Knothole Freedom Fighters (excluding Sally) and the Chaotix. However, the simulation was marred by the sudden collapse of General D'Coolette, who was promptly hospitalized at Julayla Memorial Hospital, due to poisoning from an "unknown source". (StH: #153)
