What followed was a path of blood built upon the mounds of his victims; every death a stepping stone in the pursuit of his vengeance against the gods! The ways of the Hollow were soon established; hunt, kill, consume and evolve, that became the way of these monstrous spirits. Nrvnsqr ascended to new plateaus as eons passed, obtaining unimaginable power, and who other than the kami could hope to defeat him? They sent their strongest warriors, legions of heaven's elite poured down from the heavenly plain above and engaged in a short and brutal war. But even that was not enough, standing atop a gruesome throne of corpses of a hundred thousand Nrvnsqr stood triumphant. Then the kami themselves intervened, sending their own to slay the beast, in a climactic battle that obliterated entire cities, all across the four oceans, and even then it was just barely enough. Nrvnsqr suffered grievous wounds in his battle as did his opponent and was forced into isolation to recover. It is then he found refuge in what is now Hueco Mundo, slumbering beneath the sands, his tales fading into legend. Now in the wake of the Quincy Blood War, the beast awakens into a new world, and it is hungry.
