The bottomless pit (1997) was the first version of the bottomless pit. It was followed by The Bottomless Pit (1998). They were different as although they were both animations of what someone would see falling down a pit, one was what someone would see falling down a pit (1997) and one was what someone would see spinning whilst falling down a bottomless pit! Also in 1998 Andrew Gower added simple texture to the walls. Evidence of this was on Andrew Gowers personal site where it said in the news section: This did mean that for one day there was a version which was a mix between the two.
