The majority of entrants are schools, colleges, Scout groups and Cadet squadrons from South West England, though groups from across the UK regularly take part, as do teams from Australia and New Zealand, though from 2012 onwards only teams from the South West of England will be able to take part, due to the high numbers of entrants.
