The team played in the Illinois-Indiana-Iowa League (1920–1921), Mississippi Valley League (1922–1933) and Western League (1934–1937). The stadium also was the home of the Rock Island Independents of the National Football League from 1920 until 1925. The park is still in use today by Little League Baseball and Rock Island High School's freshman baseball team. It is rumoured that the signed original Treaty of Versailles is buried there.
