| - The Hamilton Steelhawks will be a Senior AAA team in Allan Cup Hockey (ACH) which will begin play for the 2015-16 season. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, the Steelhawks will play their home games at the Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena. The team is the second Hamilton hockey team to use the Steelhawks nickname. The team's colours are the traditional Hamilton colours of Black and Gold. The team will be Hamilton's first top level senior team since the Hamilton Tigers played in OHA Senior A from 1932 to 1954. The nickname is an homage to the Hamilton Steelhawks Ontario Hockey League team which played in Hamilton from 1984 to 1988 who relocated to Niagara Falls to become the Niagara Falls Thunder and are now known as the Erie Otters. The team is expected to have rivalries with the nearby Brantford Blast, Dundas Real McCoys, and Stoney Creek Generals which are all located with about a 50 km (30 mile) radius.
