Mass Drop is a Hierarchy Superweapon which is available once a player has built the Matter Conduit. It signals the Mothership to unleash a massive junkpile drop on a designated area, damaging everything with loads of harvested junk. However, the player should be warned that once the junk has landed on the designated area, they can be harvested as resources. The amount of dropped resources (coming in random objects, like buses, tanks, dead cows or Novus transports) is random, but usually varies from 2000 to 3000. Therefore, the Mass Drop can be an effective way of providing the Hierarchy with a late game economy and as such is best used as a defensive superweapon.
