| - Ashford is a town in The Reach and the hometown of House Ashford. It was the place of Battle of Ashford during Robert's Rebellion in 282AL.
- Captain Ashford was the commanding officer of the USS Cairo. In 2354, the Cairo was performing a survey of an uncharted planet along the Cardassian border, when the first officer was ambushed and killed by Cardassians. As a result, Captain Ashford named Lieutenant Commander Edward Jellico, who had served aboard the Cairo for several years, as first officer. When Ashford was killed during a Cardassian attack in 2360, Jellico was made captain of the Cairo. (TNG video game: Starship Creator)
- Ashford is a settlement in the Reach, the region controlled by House Tyrell of Highgarden. It is located on the Cockleswhent river north east of Highgarden.
- Originally from Viridian where he did very little, Ashford now resides upon the Meridian Ocean. Currently he is captain of the Meridian Trading Company.
- One day, when Lina Inverse, Gourry Gabriev, Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune, and Zelgadiss Graywords ordered dragon cuisine, and were instead fed bad whale meat by his subordinates, Ashford undertook to redeem the honor of his kitchen by preparing a full course dragon dinner for the Slayers. This, of course, required that he captures and kills a giant lake dragon. Ashford led the expedition, but was highly unprepared, resulting in a few failures to capture the mighty beast. Ultimately, though, invoking his Secret Strike Shooting Star Cleaver Slash, he slew the great dragon with a santoku.
- From the longer Wikipedia page [1] Ashford is a suburban town almost entirely in the Surrey borough of Spelthorne, but with a small section lying within the London Borough of Hounslow, England.[n 1] Mostly residential, Ashford is 13.5 miles (21.7 km) WSW of Charing Cross, London, forms part of the London commuter belt, with a minor stop on the Waterloo to Reading Line (which has two branch lines) and has a long commercial high street. It is centred 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south of London Heathrow Airport, to which a portion of its economy relates, including business premises relating to aviation and the distribution of air freight – the main cargo depot being next to an adjoining village, Stanwell.
