Komotau qualified for and played in the Czechoslovak Extraliga during the 1937-38 season, by virtue of winning the German Association Championship. They finished in third place in Group B of the Extraliga. The Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia was annexed by Germany in 1938. From then until 1945, NSTG Komotau was set up, and played exclusively against other German clubs.
