When Waylon made his way to college both his parents couldn't be prouder and Waylon managed to make his way through to end up with a degree in Business and IT. What his parents didn't know was that during his time on campus Waylon had fallen in love with pro-wrestling. He spent all his free time watching old matches and training at the local gym with any local talent he could find. After he graduated Waylon was picked up by a few independent companies where he impressed with his solid, no nonsense style and easy going likeable manner on the mic. He sold his southern roots without making him one of the "them damn yankee" types. Waylon finds it difficult when people expect him to be the straw chewing, southern idiot type or grand old opera loving country boy.
