Alice immediately set Meg up with her friend Dr. Craig Valentine. The two went out for several months, but the relationship never went anywhere. Later in 2007, Meg transferred from Central to Shortland Street. She worked with Detective Robyn Gardner to secure Kieran Mitchell's confession to the murder of Claire Solomon (though Kieran was eventually proven innocent). After Kieran found out the truth, Meg had a one night stand with Mark Weston in the toilet of the I.V. The following day, Meg's body was found. She had been murdered by the Ferndale Strangler.
