| - Dav'ir was a planet, the fourth planet in the Toolian star system in the Orion Neutrality Area, somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. It was the only class M planet in its system, and it had four moons. Home to an Orion Colony, Dav'ir was a flourishing agricultural world in the late 23rd century. Over half of its available land area was used for farming, while only a few cities dotted the landscape. Most of the world's residents lived in small villages, which were surrounded by vast fields of crops.

Dav'ir was dominated by two Orion families, the Bilat and the Cholifir, each land barons with huge estates. They ruled jointly, but not peacefully—inter-clan rivalry was intense, and verged on open warfare. They burned each others fields, assassinated each others rhadamanen and hired pirates to steal each others shipments. Despite all this, both families displayed incredible cluros as well, by being civil and polite to each other and even inviting each other to their banquets and festivals. It had a total surface area of 548,220,780 square kilometers and, with 92% land mass, a total land area of 504,363,110 square kilometers. About 33% of Dav'ir's makeup was normal metals, 5% was industrial crystals, and it had trace amounts of radioactive elements, gemstones and other special minerals. It had a tropical climate, a class M terrestrial atmosphere and a 28-hour day. It had a technological/sociopolitical index of 999974-74 and a planetary trade profile of BEFECDF/A(B).
