Komodo comes from a long line of Japanese rulers and is the last surviving member of the House of Komodo, a house thought exterminated during World War I. His true descent lies in the dragon, a birthright he attempted to embrace by having mercenary cyborgs and Pimiko’s kunoichi capture Splinter. Using a synthetic mutagen distilled from Splinter’s blood, Komodo intended to use it to mutate himself into a sentient, true dragon before Pimiko’s treachery resulted in the self-destruction of his headquarters when the Turtles invaded, seeking their lost master.
