Guarded by the black Watchers, Sam and Frodo were able to pass when Sam held up the elven-glass of Galadriel to them. the glass counteracted the deadly force of the glittering eyes, and the great gate, and the Watchers, were destroyed.

- Mordor is het dorre land onder heerschappij van Sauron. Het land is levensgevaarlijk. Het loopt er vol met hordes orks, trollen en andere slechte wezens. Mordor is het land van Sauron, daar verzamelt hij zijn orks om een aanval te voorbereiden op Gondor. In Mordor ligt ook een kleine zee, Zee van Nurn

- Mordor is one of the most aggressive factions with an open fortress, which provides 8 Plots and 8 defense areas. The whole gameplay of the faction is focused on the central hero Sauron, who is responsible for the development of upgrades and activation of various forces. By fulfilling tasks the power of Sauron may be multiplied and expanded, whereby various heroes who are linked to his will become more powerful at the same time. Mordor has a variety and mass of different troops, but they are weaker than other factions in direct fight. On settlements and outposts troops from , and may be recruited.

Scattered across the landscape, large dark boulders bear witness of frequent volcanic eruptions. Only "evil" plants grow here: thorns, Morgul-shrooms and Withered Moss. As reminders of a long forgotten past, charred trees can be found throughout these lands.
