- The Plains are an open battleground location in Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. Covering much of Ligau Isle, the grassy plains are riddled with hollows and dinosaur nests, both packed with buried treasure and valuable eggs. One end of the plains allows access to the town of Jelton, while the other opens out onto Mt. Tomae. In the southeast corner of the plains is a particularly special hollow, as it is used by thieves to store their vast wealth underground. Exploring this Treasure Cave will reward you with some valuable plunder, assuming you can wrestle it away from it's current thieving owners.

- On The Plains, a Player can use one mech to fight NPC monsters at the cost of some energy. When you win fights in the the Plains, the player will get commander experience, mech experience for the used mech, a bit of Max Energy, and Platinum. You can move around The Plains by clicking the directional arrows in the upper left corner of the Plains interface. The more you move away from Sector 3, which is located in the center of the map, the stronger the enemies you face become, and so do the gains for a victory.
