Georg Schrapel was a German employee who worked for Ape and Monkey Hart's percussion cap business. On December 27, 1633, Schrapel led the remaining German employees into quitting the Harts' business due to the dangers in making the percussion caps and preferring in using their talents in Rohrbacher Pharmaceuticals and as well using their knowledge gained from the Harts' business in making their own business in primers and percussion caps. This was met with complete outrage from Ape, especially over the latter news, in which he states to Schrapel and the other former workers won't be pay for the last lot of primers and percussion caps. Schrapel had expected from Hart's reaction and consider it "payment in lieu of notice."
