Later, when Metro-Dade Vice used Crockett & Tubbs to arrange a deal where they would purchase all of Kovics' inventory (and Kovics was moving to Mexico), Rollins discovered who they were and decided to take Kovics down. During the set-up, Tubbs' wire malfunctioned, exposing him & Crockett, and Kovics took the Vice cops to a secluded causeway to kill them, but had Rollins do the shooting. Rollins then turned on Kovics and began shooting at his men, finally emptying a machine gun magazine into Kovics' limo, killing the porno leader inside.
