Approval Voting is a voting system in which each voter is asked to indicate those candidates of which they approve. Each voter may approve of as many or as few candidates as he/she wishes. After polling closes the number of approvals (also called votes) received by each candidate is determined. In a single position election the candidate with the most approvals (also called votes) is elected.
