A red marionette head and torso was used in the 2005 Christmas event. It could be made by using a red marionette (torso) on the crate that held red marionette heads in Diango's Workshop. If used with the crate that held red marionette arms, it would become a red marionette (arms). When completed and strung, the marionette is unusable; the player had to take it to the Taverley members' gate, where they would receive a hat. After the player took five boxes of decorations to the tree in Varrock Square and decorated it, a usable marionette would be found underneath the tree.
