Segment is a measurement of time on Tetro, abbreviated as seg. There are 81 segments in one Tetrian day (full rotation of the planet on its vertical axis), numbered from 0seg to 80seg. In relation to Earth time, one segment is about 53 minutes and 43.2 seconds. A division of 81 segments was chosen so that in Tetrian, each segment can be represented by a 4-digit number. For example: 0seg = 0000gil 25seg = 0221gil 80seg = 2222gil

  • Un segment és el conjunt de punts d'una recta compresos entre dos punts anomenats extrems.
  • In Foldit, proteins are made up of segments. A segment is also called a residue (referring the "amino acid residue" after the formation of a peptide bond). Each segment is normally one of the twenty amino acids used in Foldit. In some puzzles, one or more segments may represent a "ligand", an atom or small molecule which interacts with the protein. These ligand segments are not "residues". Segments are numbered starting at 1. File:Segment information.png

These ligand segments are not "residues". Segments are numbered starting at 1. To see more information about a segment, hover over the segment with the mouse and hit the tab key. This opens a "Segment Information" window showing the segment number, the amino acid for the segment, the segment's overall score, and the score parts that make up the segment's score. There may be additional fields shown for some puzzles. File:Segment information.png
