Having no legendary gifts bestowed upon him While at first he was called the Determined Loser, even prior to joining the Academy, the epithet meant to be an insult slowly turned into a renowned title, as Yukio's determination allowed him to turn around many losing battles. After achieving Yamarāja, Yukio also gained the title of The Wrath of the Death God. Protecting his village, Yukio cares for every person in it that he knows about, having an ideology somewhat similar to that of Konohagakure's Will of Fire. While not everyone might have treated him well as a child, Yukio's determination to show them the light, the right way to treat one another, has garnered a great level of respect from the people of the Sand. As time progressed, Yukio became known as the Man of Universal Duality, a title that encompassed Yin and Yang and the Spiritual Energies.
