| - Maybe we should begin using the forum namespace more often for matters that will contain many kilobytes of data, thereby saving the community portal for smaller things. Also, I've noticed on many other wikis that people tend to keep conversations in one place, meaning they respond to a person's message where they left it (i.e. on that person's talk page). We should start doing this more, in order to "abide by the norm". Energybender 19:14, 23 December 2008 (UTC) Why cant we continue as we are. I see no real problems. - Zero - Talk 10:15, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Sometimes only certain users who drift from wiki to wiki for a few edits may ask them to reply on their home talk, or where they left the message simply cause it's easier. I tell people to do that when I talk to them sometimes on other wikis, but other than that, unless more than 2 users are involved, the conversation can be hosted back and fourth. Joey - Talk Contribs 08:53, 24 December 2008 (UTC) Also, for the forum part, I like forums, but they are usually used with questions that aren't about the wiki's development, or are a certain miscellaneous item. If we can abide by these simple guidelines, then we can. Joey - Talk Contribs 08:56, 24 December 2008 (UTC) I think user talk page conversations should be handled on the talk page the first message was posted on. It makes it easier to follow discussions. As for the forum part, I'm neutral, because it can make this page smaller, but it also can be used for the wrong reasons - stuff that is a waste of time. 888th Avatar - Talk - Contributions 13:13, 24 December 2008 (UTC) Why cant we continue as we are. When multiple people are involved, you can host it in one place, and for special circumstances. We can't really make it a rule, but the user's best discretion is probably just best. Joey - Talk Contribs 13:32, 27 December 2008 (UTC) Yeah, a conversation between two people only can take place on the respective user talk pages while a for more than that it could be hosted on one page. Thats perfect Joey. - Zero - Talk 15:12, 27 December 2008 (UTC) Yes, so it's best to keep a conversation between two people on one page, and one with multiple participants here or on a forum. It depends on the magnitude of the given subject whether it goes to a forum or not. An example of a forum discussion would be for a site problem, such as the duplicate wiki issue. Energybender 20:31, 27 December 2008 (UTC) Absolutely correct. - Zero - Talk 11:39, 28 December 2008 (UTC) So let us use the forum namespace whenever the appropriate occasion arises. --Energybender 00:52, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
