R5-M65 saved Dera's life when he locked all weapons on an attacking salvo off Vulture droids. R5-M65 was destroyed while "playing" with 2 mouse droids, a result of unfrequent memory wipes, when he fell off the Naboo hangar. Dera found his memory and processed it on to a droid called R3-S2.
