- The game revolves around Mike Schmidt getting a job as night guard for a declining pizzeria called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. When in the pizzeria, Mike will receive pre-recorded calls from an unknown person, saying that the animatronics that are in the pizzeria malfunction during the night, and they think humans are endoskeletons and should be stuffed in a suit, which would kill the human. Around the five nights, Mike must survey security cameras around the pizzeria to make sure the animatronics don't enter the office and ambush him. When an animatronic appears, Mike can get rid of them by shutting the door on them. Upon surviving the final night, Mike gets his paycheck and overtime. The games were developed in a remarkably short time; the first game came out in August 2014, the second that November, the third in March of 2015, the fourth in July 2015 and RPG spinoff called "Five Nights at Freddy's World" was released in January 2016.
