- Maxim is one of the three majors of the Russian army dogs and their third platoon leader. He is Lydia's big brother and the son of the marshal. Maxim starts out as a ruthless soldier who has been raised to kill males, females and puppies without mercy. However, he dislikes the killing of females and puppies and he is often shown to be against it. Still, as a soldier he doesn't want to go against direct orders either. After meeting the Ōu army, his sense of justice comes through and he begins to open up and make friends with the Ōu army.

He is able to use Magic Arts of overwhelming power as the result of a Ragnite implant experiment.

- Maxim ist ein junger Asiatischer Elefantenbulle im Zoo Le Pal in Dompierre-sur-Besbre. Maxim wurde im Zoo Rotterdam (Diergaarde Blijdorp) in den Niederlanden am 1.3.1998 geboren. Seine Mutter ist die heute in Planckendael lebende Kuh Yu Yu Yin, sein Vater der 1998 verstorbene Bulle Ramon. Über seinen Vater hat er mehrere Halbgeschwister, unter anderem die beiden Schwestern Bernhardine und Yasmin im Zoo Dublin, Töchter der Rotterdamer Leitkuh Irma, die am 18.10.2006 Blijdorp verließen. Sein nur wenige Tage vor ihm, ebenfalls in Rotterdam geborener Halbbruder Timber, Sohn von Khaing Phyo Phyo, war bis 2007 sein ständiger Begleiter. Eine Halbschwester ist außerdem Indra im Zoo Amersfoort, eine Tochter der dortigen Leitkuh Khine War War.
