Cortous VI Hord was a Sith Lord and the ruler of the Tarisian monarchy, and a member of the Hord dynasty. While to the people of Taris and the rest of the galaxy he was a direct descendant of Tenraul Hord, the first monarch of Taris, he was nothing more than another avatar of the ancient Sith Lord Darth Revan, much like Tenraul himself and his descendents. When Cortous VI died, the Tarisian monarchy was inherited by his son Harrison Hord, who was in fact the main incarnation of Darth Revan.
