The Mustafarian Merchants Alliance was a group of merchants, nobles and miners on Mustafar who, after news the death of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine in the battle of Endor reached Mustafar, revolted, using a secret Droid Army that was under construction in an underground Droid Foundry for that very purpose. They eventually set off to conquer other planets, such as Hoth, and built many new ship designs from Imperial Schematics and Prototypes left on Mustafar. They refused to use anything else than Droids as Troops and Starfighter Pilots, and as such they used many of the ships commonly used by the Confederacy during the Clone Wars, at least at first.
