| - Desert Ruins (デザートルーインズ Dezāto Rūinzu?) bądź też Dessert Ruins w Zonie 3 – drugi świat w grze Sonic Lost World. Pojawiają się tu tornada piaskowe i sekcje platformowe wewnątrz piramid. Poza badnikami, pojawiają się ogromne kaktusy oraz wielkie, niebieskie Sandwormy. W wersji na Nintendo 3DS, po przejściu poziomu gracz może otrzymać żółty materiał.

Es una etapa con temática de desierto, similar a Sandopolis Zone de Sonic & Knuckles, pero con numerosos tornados de arena, y algunas plataformas rompecabezas dentro de las pirámides. Aparte de badniks, otros enemigos recurrentes en la zona son grandes bolas de cactus y gusanos azules hambrientos, que son capaces de comer al jugador instantáneamente. Al igual que otras etapas, hay una variedad de zonas, como la versión para Wii U, existe una zona con temática de carmaelos y otra con tematica de colmena.
- The Desert Ruins are a dungeon location in Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. Located within the vast Kaklim Desert in the Dry Lands, the Ruins sit atop of the Nisa Cavern and Merholm, home to the Topaz Fatestone. There are 3 entrances from the surface ruins underground, but only 1 really goes anywhere. When you are in the main portion of the ruins make your way down to 2F, where you will see a large insect mini-boss blocking the tunnel into the caverns.
- Initially the player will ride the Camel Slug to fight against some Rebel Army forces. Then the landscape background will show that the aforementioned troops had installed a base near an ancient pyramid to presumably make biological experiments, with plants which went wrong and become Man Eaters and other mutated fauna. This mission is the one which probably contains most alternate routes. These are: Quick boss route: the player can disregard the lever and keep going straight to the waterfall that leads to a stone chimney that leads the player down to face the boss.
- The Desert Ruins are the grounds where three Desert Sirens roam. When Kratos came across the Desert of Lost Souls, killing these three Sirens was required before being allowed pasage. Doing so would open up a doorway into a set of ruins within the desert.
