The relationship, however, was used by the Imperial Media Bureau to disseminate propaganda that Kax and Savio were collaborators who gave the Jedi Rebellion information on troop deployments. The propaganda was complied in a book published by the Beurau called Four Years of Jedi Treachery & Espionage. For these false charges, Kax was publicly executed in 0 BBY after a internal investigation controlled by the Bureau.
