Marrovia was a planet located in the Gordian Reach of the Outer Rim. The agriworld was known for the native Marrovian pig, a hardy, fatty swine which were fed in huge numbers in giant farms before being processed in the planet's many rendering stations. Owing the its output, the smell of Marrovia was considered appalling.

  • Marrovia is a small, metal-rich planet in the Gordian Reach, the capital of the Sith'ari Centrality. Devastated by hundreds of years of mining, the planet's surface is still habitable. Key industries include mining, refining, manufacturing and shipbuilding. Privately owned orbital shipyards produce everything from bulk freighters to custom starfighters, though production of larger spaceframes is sometimes an issue.

A full five percent of Marrovia's population resides in huge colonies that orbit the planet, its LaGrange points, and other planetary bodies throughout the system. Toroidal, spherical and cylindrical structures, dozens of kilometres long, rotate around their axes to produce simple artificial gravity. Each colony is a self-contained ecosystem, overflowing with greenery. Some are macrostructure experiments: filled with latticework or breathable fluids, for example. For the most part, the colonies are home to the wealthy, their servants, and those who work in the service industries. Marrovia was settled in 476BBY by humans, Kli'aari and B'trillans, who took advantage of the planet's shallow gravity well and diverse metals. Over the following centuries, as the planet's local significance grew, species from all over the Gordian Reach congregated to Marrovia and its orbital settlements. The Sith Empire under Darth Kren conquered Marrovia with little resistance; Marrovia's oligarchs had long trusted in economic advantage to secure their world's safety, and soon Marrovia attained some significance in the Sith Empire. After the dissolution of the SE following Norik Kun's death, Marrovia retained its independence. It was conquered by the Dark Council in 17 ABY, and became the capital of the Sith'ari Centrality.
