Malcolm Washington was the owner of a black 1983 Cadillac, license number LOP1238, VIN C03456218. It was stolen from him, and the Lytton PD kept an eye out for it. During the arrest of Jason Taselli, Sonny Bonds discovered that the car Taselli was driving was in fact Washington's - it was painted light blue, but Sonny noticed the doorjamb was black. Closer examination of the doorjamb revealed the VIN plate, which matched Washington's car. While Sonny took Taselli to jail, officer Jack Cobb had the car towed to the impound lot. It is unknown whether Washington eventually got his car back.
