- Prior to the Walrus' appearance in the Northern Sea, the polar bears and the seals had shared the water and the land of the Northern Coast and Seas and had the penguins as their shared servants. - Walruses are caught from a Walrus/Whale Deep-sea spawning locations, while the player is Spear fishing. The fish is caught by following the fish and continually jabbing it with the spear till it finally collapses and a raw walrus appears in the players inventory. Once caught, there's a 50% chance that a Whale may respawn in its place. Catching the fish is competitive, meaning that if two or more players are trying to catch the same walrus, then only one of the players will successfully catch the fish. There is currently only one spot to catch a walrus, located in the water room in the Celestial Dungeon, which requires a Fishing and cooking level of 80 to enter. Walruses give 850 Fishing experience per catch and 490 Cooking experience when cooked.
