- Hill giant is a type of monster in ADOM. The most basic type of giants, hill giants start to appear before the middle of the game, and can be encountered in large groups in hilly areas in the wilderness once the PC reaches level 15. Hill giants are capable of firing rocks, and often drop the slings they use when they are killed. Greater vaults of giants contain hordes of hill giants. Also, a hill giant named Bonk is one of the possible 20th opponents in the Arena.
