Extrasolar planets, also called exoplanets, are planets outside the boundaries of the solar system. Most of the 200+ extrasolar planets are outside of their stars' habitable zone, which means the planet cannot support life to due to the extreme temperatures (either too hot or too cold). However, planets such as Gliese 581 c and HD 113766 are in its' stars habital zones.
