Hermann Paul Müller (November 21, 1909 - December 30, 1975) was a German racing driver and motorcycle racer, who almost beat John Surtees to the honour of winning championships on both two wheels and four, when the last season of the European Championship was abruptly left without a champion, despite Müller having the lowest points total (during the European Championship, the champion had the least points). The president of Germany's highest motorsports organisation (who had no authority to do so) declared Hermann Lang the champion.
