To make sure Homer doesn't fail they hire two Sherpas to help him. When Homer learns that the Sherpas are secretly pulling him up the mountain while he is asleep he fires them and informs Brad and Neil that he is going to climb the mountain by himself. Brad and Neil think he is crazy and lose all hope of him surviving. However Homer does make it to the top of the Murderhorn.
