  • The Crow Cities are the eighteen cities, seventeen not counting Crowtonne/the Crow's Nest, within the Crow: Bulay-Erthkii, Doffet, Flicker, Grackle, Gœ-Stayeen, Jækaatþ-Dosþer, Jaye, Malakalt, Maulstett, Nerekeres, Pecker's Peck, Rocherr's Cave, Sexes, Sparess, Spared Town, Tægyy-Hosþer, and Wexes. Some of these village names originate from Lobott: Doffet, Sparess, Pecker's Peck, Crowtonne, Maulstett, Rocherr's Cave, Grackle, Spared Town, and Flicker; some from Sefenlander: Nerekeres, Sexes, and Wexes; one from Bedaye: Jaye; one from it's Farwestern inhabitants: Malakalt, and the rest were named by the nameless people from before the Southern Empire: Jækaatþ-Dosþer, Gœ-Stayeen, Bulay-Erthkii, and Tægyy-Hosþer. Running between the villages are tunnels with airholes placed every now and then to allow light, and air into the plateau. Statues of nameless gods dot the tunnels, and one can usually be found above the Crow's airholes (called the pecks). The motif of the ice flower is found throughout these villages and their interconnecting tunnels; held in the hands of painted nameless gods on the walls, on tiled floors, and as literal ice-flowers growing around the pecks and in the cracks of the tunnel walls. Pecker’s Peck is located at the very tip of the Crow, and is said to be the dividing line of the Black Sea, and the Free Seas, specifically Liberty Bay. It is composed of eight roads that widen near the cave entrance above the water, narrowing into the Crow, until they become a single cobbled road leading into the tunnel halls of the Crow. An oligarchy of men leal to King Ristt Blot rule the Peck. Malkalt is the southernmost hold of the Faith of the Four Gods of Nature. Spared Town saw no bloodshed when Messink invaded Crahia, and was named Kaath-Mosþer before that. Doffet is the only city of the Crow in open rebellion against Ristt. However, the King-That-Kills-Kings has not yet crushed the rebels for three reasons: Doffet’s size is that of ten Crowtonnes, and its location is difficult to navigate to, and unknown to most Crahishmen, the magicks that the King uses to control his army of Flotch Pyrates, Crahish peasants, Sarplander Tribesmen, Telfish Tribesmen, Kaathi, and some say the dead, does not work that far within the Crow. Whatever the case, not one of Ristt’s soldiers has gone within Doffet’s borders. Not even the Grand Kaath Stayeen.
