At the beginning it seems that the Stingers will remain with Starlight Music, but then Eric offers the Stingers half of his company, as well as renaming the studio to Stingers Sound. While Riot is ultimately interested more in pursuing Jem as a love interest, the contract offered by Eric proves to be more favorable to him, and he accepts it.
